Question about New gsp

I just got a small colony of gsp from my lfs on a good piece of lr but it must have been a new frag because on the way home some of the mat started coming loose I put it in a low flow area of the tank so my question is how long should it take for the mat to reattach itself?

Might take a while, just like Laddy mentioned. Glue it if you don't want to wait for it to attach on it's own.

I could do that. What would you all recommend should I just glue it down to a different rock seeing as how the rock they are on is covered in coraline and feather dusters? It's really a nice rock just to have it taken over by gsp. Also what is a good reef safe glue? Is krazy glue ok?

If your not using the glue meant for coral then you can use superglue of any kind but make sure its the gel superglue not the regular.

And what about the rock should I move it to a different one? Like I said the rock its on is probably the best looking lr in my tank.

i would move it to a fist sized piece of LR and isolate it in your sandbed a minimum of 3" away from anything else...and yeah super glue gel is what i use for it as well...it is much easier to frag off sand then it is off rocks...either that r do as i have done and glue it directly to your overflow box about half way up...nice thing is it will generally only grow upward so it wont climb all ove and ruin your rocks...
