question about peaceful fish in aggressive tank

i have a 2 month cycled 75 gallon tank.....
i have a 30 gallon i want to transfer a 4 inch scissortail goby out of (to the 75 gallon)....

my question is, is it feasible that i add a niger trigger at some point later?
ive read that niger triggers are not as aggresive and thought that maybe they could coexist....

in the future i plan on adding some wrasses as well......
and was thinking maybe a lawnmower blennie....

and that would be another question...
if i had a bottom feeder fish, an aggresive fish isnt just going to chase it and bludgeon it to death, right? i mean a niger trigger isnt out for blood, just food (so no cleaner shrimp or other little shrimp) and space....so he would be alright....right?

and, final question.....would larger crabs (sally light foot or emerald crab) and shrimp (such as a banded coral shrimp ) make it through the night with a niger trigger??

bottom line is, i really love the way triggers look, but i dont just want to have a tank with triggers............

If the scissortail is established (wow that's big at 4" too) he would be fine, same for the lawnmover, but the wrasse might be tricky. Which one are you thinking of? For a 75, I would stay away from any of the Thalassoma wrasses.

Niger's are pretty docile when small but when they get big (this may be after a lot of years though) then get pretty aggressive to the point of killing other fish (one even took out a clown trigger!). If you're not set on the Niger, a blue throat trigger is a much better community trigger. Most are fine even with shrimp!

nice..
thanks for the heads up on the wrasses, i was looking at the lunare wrasses, guess not. the coris are pretty cool and the checkerboard wrasses...sooo

i have the scissortail now.....so i guess ill add him first (he is kinda aggresive, and he needs to get out of my 30 gallon, which currently houses a scooter blenny (dante 5000), firefish (sharkmonster), green clownfish goby (nerd) and a wheelers goby (cerebus) all two inches and under, and i just for the record i have a refugium for my blenny).......

if i get a blue throat....he wouldnt mess with the coral banded, sally light foots or emeralds? what about snails? i think that the wrasses might be more of a problem in that area and i might have to get reef safe wrasses.....

i was also thinking, down the line, of geting a fu-manchu lion fish as they are small and all the fish i plan on keeping will be bigger than his mouth (This sounds like a rule of thumb with these guys)......

does this sound like a good setup?
to discourage the eating of the snails should i just get BIG snails, or does that even matter?
