Question about plumbing

Its been 1 week since I plumbed a reef tank for the first time. The prior tank was a 55 non reef with cprbakpak. Question is
I used a brass adapter on my insump pump. Will having brass inside the sump effect my water/fish ect? I tried googling but no luck.

Prugs I didnt know and everyone who tried to give me advice was completely rude and disrespectful and not helpful. I did my homework prior and found nothing on brass in a tank.Made a call to a place I completely trust. I completely revamped my plumbing to a more not so newbie setup. So even tho yes people think newbies are complete idiots. I proved that theory wrong today. Thanks for the post Made alot of mistakes along the way and managed to handle my problems myself.
