Question about pricing

I noticed on your website that you offer Gulf and Keys rocks. But under the online catalog, you only list "Decorator Rock" and "Corals on Rock" rocks. Could you please clarify?

Far be it from me to speak for anyone- I'm just a very satisfied TBS customer. But in the interests of speculation and keeping your question alive I'll give you my best guess.

As I recall Richard operates aquaculture sites both in the Keys and in the Gulf. Maybe both sites produce "decorator rock" and "corals on rock" grade rock.

Weather conditions often prohibit collecting from one site while the other remains fine- Florida weather is a hoot and does not play by normal rules. I have literally seen it raining in my front yard and clear in the back, so bad dive conditions in the Keys have nothing to do with diving in the Gulf.

So both grades of rock could be available from each site. Whether you get "Gulf rock" or "Keys rock" may be as simple as which site he was diving the week you ordered your rock. You can't specify which one you want because he can't specify which weather he gets in a given location.

Forgive me Richard if I have clouded the issue beyond repair. Conversely- thank me if I got it right

All I know tygger is that any rock you get from TBS will be great rock.
