Question about Rod's Food (Frozen Reef Food)

I am huge on nutrition and feel that healthy fish and fish less likely to get disease starts there! I used Rod's for the last few years but recently switched off of it. I had 3 major issues with the food:

I strongly agree with you on this, considering the fact that I go through Rod's like toilet paper in the past.

After several months of using it, I stopped mainly because of "waste."
The waste we're referring to here is the particles in the water columns that do not get consumed by any organism other than fuel nitrates and phosphates. In turn; my skimmer collects it all, now that's waste.
I'm totally sure a fish's metabolism isn't 3 hours, because in a span of 3 hours, my skimmer collects a large amount of waste right after Rods feeding.

Great product but the price doesn't justify it's purpose. At $20 a flat pack, that's already 3-4 varieties of cubes that lasts for months. Instead of a flat pack that lasts a few weeks.

I make my own food, with H20 Life varieties and SF Bay Brand.
Seafood is purchased from a local farmers market. $40 bucks makes me food that lasts for a 6 months at least. Cube trays are bought from online vendors.
Takes 30 mins to make food for your fish and 30 mins or so to buy, to each their own.
