Is there any problem in putting a Uni-Seal in the bottom of a container.
I plan on using a 20 Brute trashcan for an RO/DI resivior
I want spigot in the bottom so I can get all the water out.
I would use a bulkhead. Uniseals are "press fit", I have 2 on my kalk reactor, and on the side they work fine, as long the hole is exactly the right size. I would not use it where water weight is also pushing down on it.
Using 1 inch male and female thread adapter as a bulkhead on my brute, then put a 2 way union valve. Lil silicone and perfect hole selection and u groovy. one word of caution. check where the hole is going on inside. Since often there are structure flaps and bends inside bottom that can be intrusive to bulkhead or get drilled accidentally when putting hole in
