Question about UV Sterilizer- What is "X" watts

I believe it applies to the turbo twist models. Most UV is just a straight path around the UV bulb, the turbo twist models wrap around the bulb several times. From what I understand it is the number of times it goes around the bulb.

^^This^^ It's a label used on the coralife turbo twist sterilizers with relation to exposure time. It's separate from the actual bulb wattage.

Though, while we're on the subject, I'll say from experience that the Coralife sterilizers are not worth your money. The enclosure is made of cheap plastic that requires a steel sleeve on the inside so the UV won't break it down. The sleeve also rusts after a few months of use in saltwater. If by chance you are researching to get a UV sterilizer, look at Aqua UV classic series.
