question about wave maker

Is their a wave maker that will fluctate the pump speed instead of turning on and off. I have koralias and they usually start in reverse when power is turned off and then on again.

DC controllable pumps are made for this, AC pumps are not. Turning a pump on and off is not wave making, it is just cutting half your flow off for a period of time. If you want to make a wave, get a wave box or controllable pumps that can be cycled in fractions of a second. The wave box is the best bargain here, uses the least amount of electricity and has the best performance.
