Question concerning Temp dependent light reduction

Hey all,

Quick question.

I have my MH and actinics set up on timers #1 and #2 rather than under the illumination features. I want the MH to turn off if the temp goes to a certain degree.

Now, under the Temp dependent menu, I see where I can choose which L1-L8 channels I want to be affected by temp, but of course my lights are not on those channels.

I do see where I can choose "settings for non-dimmable lamps" but I dont think that the program will recognize my lights on the timer functions when it looks at this will it?

So, I guess the question is, with my MH being on timer #1, how can i get the controller to turn them off when temp gets to a certain degree.

Why would you not put your MH and actininc as Lighting Channels. All you have to do is choose Non-dimmable ballast on the lighting channel and then you specify when you want the light on and off. Simple.

I put my MH on light channels (it takes 5 mins to change it)

I guess I can do that, just seems 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other.....
