OK, I did it, I purchased a BTA, my clowns were swimming into everythign that looked like it might be an anemone, the kids said I needed one and I got a great deal. It's been about 3 weeks now...

Let me start at the beginning. Got the anemone got him home and in the tank. Came with his own rock even... Next morning on other side of rock and didn't look too happy. Next morning back over on other side of rock looking better but seemed to not enjoy the flow. My flow pumps are off at night with only the circulation flowing. Next morning up against the front glass and fully opened about 6" in diameter - pumps not on yet. Next morning, gone then spotted in rock work. Next morning deep in rock work. Now 2 weeks later I can sometimes spot him deep in rock work.

any suggestions on how to get him to move back out? I realize I'll have to change the flow If I can get him in the sand maybe I can move him to a calmer spot but I don't want to tear the rock down too many animals are attached to them....

Thanks!

you should just let him hide in that rock for a while, even if you move him out, itll probably end up hiding again. it might even split for you, the only time my nem went in hiding was when it slplit.

It's been awhile but THANKS for the advice. So I may have two of them, hopefully I'll be able to see one once in awhile.

Every once inawhile he'll make a show then go away. My clowns haven't even noticed he's in the tank...

Adjust your flow so it not as strong. I lucked out and place mine which also came on a rock and he has not moved an inch. Just be patient, he will come out seeking light.

I wish it were that easy.... I designed the tank to have great flow and other than removing all the internal pumps (only 2 of them) I can't seem to kill it low enough to not chase him off - but then I see videos and they look like they are sitting in the middle of strong flow..... Ah, if were easy it wouldn't be fun BUT you never like to take the chance of loosing anything...
