Question of glass thickness for a 450 gallon

Looking at a tank already made 6'w X 5'd X 2'h and is made out of 5/8" thick glass. Had eurobraces all around approx 4-5" w/ not cross braces.

Was wondering if 5/8" is too thin?

Has it been filled in the past? That should be at least 1" IMO.

it's only 24" deep
depth is the determining factor for thickness
it may be fine, hopefully a tank builder will post here for you

This has never been filled.

I was thinking it also should be min 1" thick.
