Question when making homemade food

Picked up some frozen seafood to make some fish food, I also plan on adding mysis, brine, and bloodworms, but I'd rather not chop those up more than they are, would it be ok to defrost the cubes in the fridge and mix them in after I chop up the rest? I've seen some posts where this has been done but wanted to be sure it won't affect the food at all.

Skip the bloodworms. They are not worms but insect larvae, and not very nutritious for our fish. Almost all bloodworms are under 10% protein and very low in fats. Go to Dr Fosters and Smith`s site and you can look up nutritional value of frozen foods.

I use the bloodworms and enriched brine, its not the main part of the blend i do, just something different from time to time. Final ingredients were brine, bloodworms, mysis, clam, krill, some silversides, salmon, squid, shrimp, and bay scallops.
