I have a water flow question.. i have soft corals.. would a koralia 1 (400 gph) and a maxijet (325) be too much or too low for a 29 gal tank.. i have a torch, hammer, xenias, cabbage, toadstool, open brain.. i was just curious

how do you have both a torch and a hammer in a 29g? i'm surprised one hasn't stung the other by now. should be ok, that's 25x. BUT, in a small tank like that, it's kinda hard not to blow right into one of your corals. i have little experience with small(er) tanks.

I have the hammer and torch on oppsite sides..i'm having a hard time adjust the powerheads to suit the corals and plus keep the surface agitation.

have you tried pointing one of them slightly towards one of the side walls? try that with the maxijet. sometimes that will work better than you think, in terms of getting the water to churn

yeah right now i have it to where the maxi is on the left side.. where it hits the surface and koralia is on the left side facing the back glass

yes, but instead of pointing it towards the center of your tank, try pointing it towards the far corner, on the side that it is on. for the most part, the corals you have require medium to low flow.
