Questions about Coral Feeding

I have a few questions about feeding corals.
1. How often do you feed your corals?
2. When do you feed your corals? (I read that corals seem to like to eat at night)
3. The directions on the food say to turn off the skimmer but do you guys also turn off your return pumps from the sump when feeding?
I have a mix of mostly SPS with some LPS and Zoos, and I alternate between Marine Snow and Roti-Feast about 3 times a week. I just wanted to know how other people in the hobby feed their corals. I also recently put 2 Koralia Evolution 1050's on a JBJ wavemaker and they have been working really well. I love the movement I'm seeing in the tank.

I have just started feeding my tank Coral Frenzy this week. I have been feeding 1/2 the dose at night and 1/2 the dose duing the following day 3 X a week. IMO this seems to be a good idea for the all in one food like Coral Frenzy as some of the corals in my tank only extend feeders at night and others show a response during the light cycle. Who knows though, I am experimenting;)

I have been leaving the skimmer and return pump on. I have a relatively slow flow through my sump and I figure the corals can feed and the excess can be skimmed out to help prevent fouling the tank.

I look forward to others responses on this question as I am new to using coral food.

I feed mine every night. I always shut off the return pump for an hour when I do this. I just leave the skimmer running in the sump, since it uses a separate feed pump. I also leave all powerheads on while feeding, except for my Tunze 6100, since it tends to suck in air and be noisy when the water level drops from shutting the return off.
