A friend of mine hooked me up with several frags to help get me started. I now have...
-two Kenya Tree frags,
-Duncans,
-two kinds of Zoas,
-Green Star Polyps,
-Trumpet frag,
-three Green Mushrooms,
-and a hammer frag.
The Trumpet and mushrooms were both from the LFS and are doing just fine. Same with the rest of the coral except the hammer. Hasn't opened up at all really. Started him off in the middle of the tank but moved em' to a spot on the sand bed with less flow.
Thinking it might do better in a spot with more light but figured it would be better to just let it sit in one spot for a while.
Parameters are-
Ph- 8.0
Ammonia- 0
Nitrite- 0
Nitrate- 10 ppm
Calcium- 500
Phosphate- <.25
Carbonate- 10 dkh
SG- 1.026
I'm using Arctic S026 LEDs for lights. Just running a regular filter for right now. 30 gallon tank cycled for 4 weeks with 30lbs lr and 1.5"-2" ls. Added first half of the cuc on the 3rd week and the other half on the 4th week, along with a pair of Da Vinci clowns. Coral went in on the 5th week and have been in for one week. Weekly 10 gallon water changes with a cap full of Stability from Seachem.
I think I covered everything but if something's missing let me know. Really want to see this guy open up and do well. Any advice on anything is appreciated since I'm new to the hobby.
