Questions about group/club

I am just getting back into reefing in abq after a 3 year hiatus. I am curious about the group. Wondering when you meet, what you do, how you join and if it would be worthwhile for me. Any input or info is appreciated in advance.

welcome back to the reefing world. the club meets every third weekend or weekday alternating of each month. Currently trying to setup this months meeting place. last month i held the meeting/frag swap at my house. where we all enjoyed each others company and tried to steal each others frags. not really steal but we had a blast. we are not officially set up yet in the officers and membership dues. So come as you are and contribute as ya can. On the worthwhile side....i say yes there is always something new and exiting to learn all around and try new things. Ive been doing this off n on for the last 20 some odd years and this time around going on three years and still learning and even perfecting old techniques. You can even look us up on FB to join us there as well.
 
Well, it sounds like a good thing. I have lots to learn still. I have a rather basic setup on a 46 gallon bowfront for now (hoping to go larger one day). It is what I had before. Planning on making it a mixed reef. I had never really graduated to SPS before, but planning to. I probably will have to make some equipment upgrades along the way as the budget will allow. I appreciate the input. thanks

Right now I am running an hob skimmer, 2 koralias, roughly 50lbs of live rock, an Aquactinics TX5 fixture, and a basic wet/dry filter. Soon it will have a 20g long sump with refugium/cheato and filter sock. Probably going to mobe skimmer down there too.

My photobucket also has pics of previous tanks from about 3-6years ago.
 
I'm in the same boat as BHoffman, but a little newer at this. I inherited a 25 gallon tank and am looking to go bigger. When is the next club meeting?
