Questions about tank

So I think I'm about ready to add a fish or two. I have some last minute questions. I was wondering if in the video that I linked you all, is there enough surface agitation from my return pump or do I need to add a powerhead? Secondly if not I was thinking of putting my powerhead in the corner under the overflow and have it blowing up at an angle. Then next week getting another power head and placing it in the left corner to blow across the corals. What do you all think about this?

I also need a skimmer that will either fit the size of a Tunze nano doc skimmer or a HOB skimmer that I can place in my sump.

Lastly, I will be adding LR too my sump (over time), then I'll get some chateo (spelling?) to put in there with the LR.

Is there anything else? For my lighting I'll be using the stock lighting until a week or two from now and plan on getting this http://www.aquatraders.com/24in-Metal-Halide-HQI-T5-Aquarium-Light-p/54261.htm

And heres a FTS?

What is the stock light? What are your parameters? The light will not matter much till you want coral buT your parameters will let you know if you can add fish. The surface looked fine but you should really be worried about movement in the tank so you can avoid dead spots and keep the detritus suspended in the water colum. Are you looking for a hang on back skimmer or an in sump?

I would get a skimmer before I get fish.

And you defiantly need more the just the return and the return generally shouldn't be considered as the needed flow. It's also not just about surface agitation but random flow throughout the whole tank to avoid any dead spots.

How long has the tank been running?

Did u use live rock in display?

U should think about running carbon?

I love the tank what size is it?

I sorry if I left out a lot of information.

I will be getting a skimmer the day of or day before I get the fish. I would like an in sump skimmer but the size has to be no bigger than a Tunze nano Doc skimmer. If I can't find one that size that's cost effective, then I'll just go the HOB skimmer direction.

Tank has been up for a month. I used 40lbs of LR iirc and 40lbs of sand. (also used stability by seachem).

I've been thinking about running carbon but maybe later down the road since I have other stuff I want/need to get right now.

I have the power head on the right corner facing towards the surface, but I was thinking about moving it behind the center of the rock and have it facing up and forward or down one of the sides.

As far as the powerheads, I only have one so far. A Sicce Voyager 2 800gph.
tank is 45gals and is a pentagon corner tank with a 10 gallon sump.

The stock light is the one you get with fresh water fish (I think). I guess it would be a t8 or something. The fixture says 17w.
