I am going to start a 10 gallon AGA. here is my list
10 gallon AGA
96 watt quad coralife (I know MH would be a good choice but not enough money for them)
2 maxi-jet (the ones that push 160 gph)
2 of the flo-directors (if you think that is the best bet)
1 50 watt jager heater
1 coralife digital therm.
I want to also pick up the wave maker that is a power strip to see if that helps with good flow
I just want to start of with shrooms and soft corals and work my way up....I want to add a sump/fuge after I get everything going.....I want to start off with maybe ten pounds of rock and just the rest come when I add corals and whatever else may come with rock....sand I plan on having maybe a inch or two of sand bed...I believe the last thing I will add is my chiller..again I am planning to buy everything monday so i am getting my list ready.....thanks for reading and giving me advice....

I wouldn't bother with the chiller your not going to need it. Iffor some reason your tank gets to hot just take out the heater or raise the lights. I also am starting a 10 gallon. Please post some pics when you get it set up. I'm trying to figure out how I want to do my aquascaping.
Seems like your gonna have a nice set up . You got some nice equipment. Also let us know how the sump/fuge works out.

Thanks Dan

Add a AquaClear 110 to the list. You can convert it into a refugium and put your heater back there so it isn't in the main tank. Get the surface skimmer attachment for it as well. I would also spray paint the back of the tank black as well. You can also rum Chem filter Media in the Aquaclear. Here is an article on it Refugium
Aside from that you have just about everything you need. Just don't forget to get test kits (good ones, i.e., salifert). Have ypu picked out a salt mix? I get good results mixing IO and Oceanic. I remember when I started my first 10g nano reef, you think you've got all your bases covered and you always forget something.

Sounds pretty much identical to my setup...mine is almost a year and going strong...adding some new stuff on the weekend and will post new pics then.
