Questions on treating sharks

I have some sharks in a pond that I had put a couple tangs in that came down with a bacterial disease. The tangs seem to have fin rot, their scales are starting to stick out and they are breathing heavy.

Can sharks get the same bacterial diseases that fish get?

If so, can sharks be treated with Furan 2 the same way I treat my fish?

Photos are always helpful, but yes, sharks handle nitrofurazone quite well.

A shark with a weakened immune system or an injury is likely susceptible to the same bacterium as fish. Vibrio is a common bacteria that can cause issues when over crowding is present. Nitrofurazone is not the drug of choice for vibrio.
