Quick/Dirty MH Reflector?

Anyone have any tips for a DIY MH reflector?

paint the inside of your canopy white

Was planning on that - something glossy white. Was wondering if aluminum foil, or even a mirror above the lights would work until I buy some real spider reflectors.

white will work as well as foil will. the white just disperses it more.
