Might seem like a kind of a dumb question to some... but im curious to know; How deep does the actual polyp go down into the the skeleton on a branching hammer?
well, since my clowns just loved my hammer to death...i can tell you it's almost 1/2" depending on the size of the head. the skeleton ridges slant in and down to a tip inside the stem. the smaller head was about 1/4".
