Yes she is. I had her with a smaller male, however she murdered it. She is very mean and does not hesitate to remove fins and flesh from tankmates.

I got it second hand, so I don't know who made it. It's right around 75 gallons I believe.

What size was it when you got it, how long ago and what size now? Plus how often and what are you feeding it?
Asking because i picked one up a couple weeks ago and it's rather small, 3.75" flexed as you can almost see in the photo. I'm currently feeding small krill about every third day.

It wasn't that big when I got it, maybe 6-7 inches. It hasn't grown a lot, but it hasn't been babied(it's been moved around a lot) so that could have a lot to do with it. It's probably around 10-12 inches now depending on the day.
I've owned 4 merten's carpets, 1 was very bleached and never thrived, two did very well until pretty much I needlessly murdered them, and the last one I currently have. From previous experience they are pretty hardy and great feeders on pellets. My previous two healthy individuals grew pretty fast on a regular diet of NLS sinking pellets.
I don't really want this one to get really big, so I don't feed it that often. I pretty much just feed it on the weekends if at all. I'm sure if I fed it more it would put on size pretty fast.
