I am interest in this method, too. can you explain more in detail? Like: how to set up, what phosphate level that you need to dose, when is good time to dose, how often.... Thx

Why would you want to use this outdated and dangerous method? This is why biopellets was invented. Biopellets, unlike Vodka, is a safer way to dose organic carbon to artificially raise your beneficial bacteria population that consumes Nitrate and Phosphate. You misses a few dose of Vodka, and your bacteria populations will crash like mad, causing all sort of algae problems. It’s way harder to do that with BP. You just need to make sure that your pellets tumbles at the correct rate to make it effective, though.
