Quick question about plumbing

Wife is leaving for the weekend so I have the entire weekend to work on the new stand that will hold my CA Reactor/frag tank/refugium/+ whatever else I decide to put on it in the future. Originally i was planning on getting a roll of 50 ft 1" flex spa to plumb the returns individually back to the sump, but got to thinking, that is a waste. Im wondering if I should just do 1 2" rigid pipe. Charts I am looking at show the flow rate at around 16gpm for the 1" and 55gpm for the 2"

So WWYD? individual 1" drans back to sump, or 1 2" drain with several sanitary Ts in it?

I'd match the size with the return pump that way you are getting maximum flow with the head loss. Make sure to use a ball valve to control the flow from the return. A union wouldn't hurt as well so you can take it apart and clean it regularly. I'd probably use a union ball valve.

Most of your answers hinge on Pump Type and head loss I believe.
