quick question on my colt......i love this thing!

Hello everyone!

I rescaped my tank yesterday and decided to place my colt directly on the floor of my tank. It's burried about 1/2 or less in the sand. Am I posing any danger to the coral, will this cause the base of it to receed?

I would think the part that is buried would just deteriorate and the stalk above the sand would just attach itself to the substrate.

Get a piece of rock rubble, and attach the colt to it and plant the rubble in the sand bed.

Don't keep it in the sand. It will disentergrate below the sand line. Sit it on a rock.
