I have a coralife bio cube protein skimmer on my 55 well this be okay till I upgrade?

I used one many years ago on a 55. I was able to get it to work but it was pretty touchy and required attention. They are on the bottom end of the skimmer scale IMO, but if that is what you got until you can get another then I would use it. Just my 2 cents, good luck
