would it be better to run my remora protein skimmer or to run my penguin HOB filter with 2 filter pads and no bio wheels to my 10g?

skimmer i have a 25gal no filter just skimmer and liverock and powerheads

skimmer no doubt. The 2 dont even do the same thing. The skimmer would be pulling crap actually OUT of the water. The filter pads still have it in water (the water still flows through the crap). Plus with pads you need to clean them constantly so they dont spike your nitrates up.
