i was wondering if theres any quicker way to set up a QT tank(29g bare bottom)sence iam going to some good fish stores in the next few days that are far away and dont have any other tanks ready, would useing a couple pounds of rock be ok if i dont get a large fish(like 4"-)and dont feed vary mutch? i know dont use sand sence i might need to use copper but can i add some macro or other algea for hideing and helping with water quality? when i do set it up regardless whats a good way to keep it ready add amonia? use mollies or damsels? or sence its a QT just the fish store if they can spare some used filter media and put it in a HOB filter?
