quiet 1 pump stop working?

what are the chances of a quiet 1 pump suddenly stopping? not including a power outage, or running out of water in the sump.

what are some ways of preventing this?

bump, has a return pump ever stopped working for you? other than power outage and a sump out of water.

yes i just take it out and soak in vinegar for a while,brush it off ,and fire it back up..

probably calcium build up around the impeller.
