Quiet overflow

Hey I need to find a Quiet HOB overflow, for my glass tank. My wilfe donsn't want to hear any kind of GURGLING.

HOB is kinda scary imho but I've not seen a loud one yet. I've heard good reviews of lifereef hob's and bad news about all continuous siphon devices when it comes to power outages.

I have the Life Reef and it's awesome in terms of always restarting. I would definitely recommend it! As far as noise I have yet to see a completely quiet HOB overflow to date. Mine makes some noise but more of the trickling water sound. It can be noisier at times though. I have it in my office though, so I'm not too concerned about the noise factor. Though I do wish that it were silent. Be prepared to hear it though no matter which one that you go with.
