quiet skimmer

I have just set up a 55 gallon tank for a friend who is complaining about the prizm skimmer that is on the tank. I can set up an overflow and put the equipment in the sump, but I was trying to go for a simple set up as he is a newbie and lives 25 miles out of town (don't want to have to make unplanned visits if he loses the siphon). Any suggestions on a quieter skimmer? The prizm was at my house and I do not remember it being that loud here, but it was loud at his house. I am wondering if I should start by replacing the motor? It will be a lightly stocked mixed reef, so it should perform well enough. thanks tommy

Get a Tunze doc skimmer. They can be ran in a sump or inside of the tank and are super quite from what I've heard.

Only prozm has great noise. Others will be no problem.
