Radeon / radeon pro light spread question

I'm planning out a new tank build and am thinking about going with a radeon or radeon pro, but only plan to do one fixture. I plan to keep sps and want of large as a tank as possible. Could someone please suggest an approximate area /depth that one Radeon (Gen 2 or pro) could sufficiently illuminate to support sps growth?

i.e. 28"l x 24"w x 24" deep..?

If you plan on keeping SPS primarily, I would recommend a single Radion Pro. With a single Pro, you will be able to illuminate an aquarium up to 30" x 30" x 30".

We recommend a minimum of 8 inches, but anywhere from 8-12 inches will work nicely.

Why would you recommend the pro over the gen2?

the pro has higher lighting intensity, UV, plus TIR lenses so that you can have better coverage
