Hi ecotech

I'm currently running a G3 pro on a new 30x30x24 93 gal cube. Using your tank mount kit, and am running a mp40 and reeflink. Because of the depth of my tank at 24, I'm using the normal lense that came with the G3. I'm keeping mainly softies, zoas, mushrooms, leathers, challaces, acans, and a couple of sticks toward the very top of the tank. Right now I'm running radiant color mode on 65% from 11am to 10pm. I do have a pair of the wide angle lenses, do you recommend me use those? HAVE A LOT OF CORALS spread everywhere in tank including outside rim. Also if I use the wide lens, do I still get good penetration to sand bed? Would I increase intensity?

Thank you

Craig

On your size tank, with the corals you have...............go with the wide angle lens kit. It will give you much better coverage, and you could just bump up the intensity a little bit to keep the PAR up at the sandbed.

How high off the water line is it mounted? 8-10" off the water surface is ideal.

Craig,

If everything in your aquarium appears happy, then I would not recommend changing. The Wide Angle Lens kit is designed to cover a 36 x 36 inch area, and will reduce your depth penetration.
