Radion Pros in a canopy

Has anyone attempted this? The reason I ask is because I will be sitting next to my future tank at my desk all day and it's probably not good for your eyes to have UV lights shining at them all day.

In the nano sub forum, there are a few folks that have replaced their stock LEDs with Radion Pros in their canopies without problems.

I am in the process of doing so myself, although I'm not finished, but looking at their build/tank threads, it works for them.

It's fine... Just make sure there is adequate air flow. I kept the canopy fans from my metal halides and left several inches between the canopy and the fixture. No issues so far. I believe there are several others who are doing something very similar.

Alright thanks. I figure I'll just have a round opening in the canopy on top of each fixture.
