Rainbow Pseudochromis?

The store had this labeled as a "Rainbow" Pseudochromis, but I don't turn up any searches for this fish by that name. Is Pseudochromis known by another name?

It looks like a Multicolor Dottyback, Ogilbyina novaehollandiae. Nasty little fish- I've had them attack fish much larger than themselves. They have an evil attitude, and little fangs to back them up. I'd suggest avoiding it unless you are keeping it in a species display or mixed with very large, aggressive fish. Coral safe, but likely to eat motile inverts.

Looks pretty close, these different color variations really make it hard to ID. I guess that's why the store makes up names :P

+ 3 to Hormigaquatica comments.

I had one of these for a year, tried it in three different tanks with various other occupants, even the snails were not safe with mine. Eventually had to keep it in the sump, until a friend took it for a tank to itself. My son called it a Doctor Zeuss fish "because of it's color patter". Unfortunately nothing cute or humorous with this fish, they are terrors....

Pretty if you have a tank to keep it by it's self...
