hey all-
i have an established 60g with a fat rainsfords goby. i love that little guy and i want to add a hectors goby. will they fight?

Thanks.
I hope a new hectors will eat the same as my rainfords. Apparently I got really lucky with mine, it is over a year old and eats any food I put in the tank, along with algea. Love the little dude, that is why I want a hectorsM hopefully its as cool as my rainfords.

they eat the same thing. but with enough rocks and algae, they should be fine.

Possible. Have you kept them together, nycbob? Know anyone who has in that size tank?

My reading suggests one or the other. And with so many cool fish out there, why not mix it up a little. I would wait for input from someone where it's actually worked. Try a tailspot blenny or royal gramma instead. Good luck.

Hectors are really gentle as far as I know. I used to have one with a blenny who looked fairly similar, and he really didn't seem to care. I can't vouch for putting one with something quite that similar, though.
