ranco temp controller question

on the controller it has a H1 and C1 setting, i know H1 is heating 1 unit. Should i have it set on C1 for my chiller?

H means that it will keep the temp UP to the set degree.
C means that it will keep the temp DOWN to the set degree.

Is this a single or dual controller? If single, set it to C for chiller and H for a heater, depending on what you have actually plugged into it.

its a single i belive. it only has one temp probe and 1 plug inline with the power cord.
