Does anyone know of anywhere locally that i can by dow flake and mag flake or the equivalents. I tried the HD and Lowes websites with out any luck but I have not actually gone in to the stores.

You can order both from harveysalt.com Prestone driveway heat is dow pellet so you can use that just use 20% less ie a cup per gallon water in reciepe 2. You'll have to order the mag flake unless you can find mgcl sold by the same company that has roadrunner salt I can't remember the name right now.

The mag flake will run 42 for a bag after shipping but it will last you a couple years or even more. I think it's a 50lb bag. But it will make hundreds of dollars worth of magnesium supplement if you were to buy it even online.

There is not by chance a local store that sells them is there? If not it looks like harveysalt it is.
