Correct if I'm wrong but the way I read this (recipe 2)The calcium part is mixed 1 1/4 cups dow flake per gallon of ro so the question is is prestone driveway heat the same thing?This is the first time I'm trying this and just want to be sure.

I used a little less because the Prestone is more pure.

I used this calculator And used the Anhydrous CaCI2 (Dow's Peladow)

Then I took how ever much it told me to use and mixed that with a gallon of RO water and slowly added that to my tank.

And yes I used the driveway Heat

so where it calls for 1 1/4 cups cut that back to 1 cup.

from my understanding the prestone driveway heat is the same thing as dows pedalow.

PM Roy he knows this stuff, he is the one that helped me.

Yes use 1 cup of pedalow (driveway heat) per gallon (for reciepe 2). It gets very warm but that's normal.
