Anyone interested in doing a group buy from rapid led? I went back and forth with them and they said we would need to purchase at least 10 units to get a discount. If there is any interest please post here

Originally we had discusses the onyx fixture so it was 10 fixtures total with a 10% discount. We would have to hit 20 to get more. Let me contact them again and see what they say about retro kits and stuff because personally I decided to save some $$ and buy the retro instead of the onyx. Honestly I thought this forum was dead. Glad to see some interest.

OK so I talked to rapid and they said we would have to spend a minimum of $2000 to receive 10% off, 3000 for 13%, and 4000 for 15%. Basically I will need estimates on your order prices and partial commitment. Once we hit 2000 I will get the ball rolling and we will establish a time frame. I'm going to commit to ~$480. Please post commitments here and don't pm them

if i was to go this route id be at 710$ (thats with 2 dimmable onyx units)

they're recommending 2 units for a 40 breeder? still doing my LED research but i think id rather buy a single reefbreeders unit and spend the 300$ id save on a skimmer
