Rasta zoas being irritated.

I have noticed along one edge of my rasta frag a very thin white string coming out if a deep hole in the rock. This white string seems to be irritating that edge of the frag.

What could this be? Also I can't get a picture because of how small it is

What would happen if I just pulled the string out with a pair if tweezers? If it is indeed one of the above? Would that kill the worm or snail? Also will anything eat either of these?

Could be a vermitid snail. they send out long fishing lines to catch food. You could just drop a glob of superglue gel into the hole to seal it up.

could be a eunicid worm, they can be white when they are small and are known to eat zoas and other coral.

I'm starting to think vermitid snails but I don't see anything but the white strings. No actual snail. And they look to be deep in the rocks

also noticing another red people eater frag being munched on by pods. yes pods. not a zoa eating nudi but a damn pod which everyone says are good to have.
