Ok so I had decided to sell off my JBJ 45rl as a promise I had made my wife and currently have it on sale here on another thread but during the process I received offers to trade for other stuff including another tank. Unfortunately my wife would kill me if I brought another tank home right now but it did get me thinking.
I decided to upgrade my office tank (Marineland Contour 3g) to a Innovative Marine Nuvo 10g.
I would have loved to have gone with something bigger but I have a small area and this is actually pushing it.
So far this is what I have decided;
Tank: IM Nuvo fusion AIO 10g
Filtration: Intank custom media basket and will be running premium blue filter floss and Chemi-Pure blue
Flow: decided to upgrade the stock pump with a Tunze 1073.008 which will give me 210gph which will drive a IM spinstream and also a Tunze Nanostream 6040 (love Tunze products)
ATO: will have a 3g Elite-Aquatics reservoir run by a Tunze Osmolator 3155
Lighting: looking at either going with a AI Prime that I already have or a Fluval Sea Marine Nano. (Buying one for my 3g Marineland tank that I will be taking home and will try it out to see which I prefer). Both are WiFi controllable using your phone but the Fluval is only 20watts compared to 50watts on the Prime but like I said, I will test them both and see which I prefer. I really like the face that both are controlled using WiFi which is the reason I am getting a Fluval for the 3g as I want to be able to set it and forget it instead of having to manually turn on the lights every day which is a pain in the rear.
I will be stocking 2 platinum clowns and possibly a yellow watchman goby or something like it. Also planning on having a couple of red leg hermits, a cleaner shrimp, a couple of bumble bee snails and a couple of nasarius snails.
Would like to also house mainly ricordia and Paly's along with a few lps and maybe some light sps.
Well so far that's the plan. Already have all the equipment except for the tank that I should be picking up on Friday. Let me know what you guys think.
