RBTA and cleaner shrimp

Just completed a move to a new house and after much stress got the tank moved and re-set-up in the new house. Since everything has settled my cleaner shrimp will not leave my rbta alone. Prior to the tank move the shrimp never got near it. Now he wont leave it alone and it will not extend out. Wondering how the shrimp is able to mess with it and not get stung, and is this alright for the health of the bta? would hate to have extra stress on it especially after a 5 hour move!

My Skunk cleaner walks all over my RBTA all the time. When i first put the RBTA in my talk he wouldn't leave it alone. He finally backed off and the RBTA moved and opened up. You just moved your tank so im assuming you took out all your rock and placed it back in at the new house. Your shrimp is just probably exploring the "new setup" and found the RBTA. I recently moved a large rock in my Biocube 29 and my shrimp has been super active ever since. Hope this helps a bit.

Keep a close eye on your cleaner shrimp. I have had cleaner shrimp lead to the demise of a bta from constant irritation. Usually cleaner shrimp are stealing the food a bta catches.

thanks for the advice. I will keep an eye in the coming days and see what end up happening the bta has moved a little I am assuming to get away from the shrimp ha.

thanks for the input, yeah I changed the aquascape quite a bit so I figure he is just looking for a new place to post! haha
