RBTA Heal?

I recently got a RBTA which settled in nicely after moving around some while I kept the Tunze 6100s off. However, less than one week after settling in, during the middle of the night it moved around and this morning I found it INSIDE the Tunze motor shroud pressed up against the exhaust grid, meaning it got sucked through the intake slits.

I removed the RBTA and placed it in the sump. Normally 4+", now the size of a 50 cent piece and ragged. It looks throughly screwed up.

Can these things heal and regrow or is it toast?

Thanks for the advice, but last night I discovered its toast. A large pile of colored goo. :(

I'll think twice before I try an anenome again. Especially an expensive anenome..........

That's too bad, they generally have remarkable healing powers. If you ever do try another one, you have to cover the pumps so they can't get in. Walmart sells plastic canvas you can make a cover for those type of phs.
