RBTA health.

I let my tank go during the summer for more then reason mostly because of no time to do water changes. After a long battle with phosphates I finally have them under control. The question is my RBTA now isn't as extended as it once was. It stays small with just small tips all the time. I hope it's not dying it's never moved. I looked up so info and many people say to spot feed it once to twice a week that I haven't done. Any help!?

RBTAs should be fine without spot feeding so long as the lighting is sufficient to provide enough energy. You can, however, still give him some to eat if you feel like he is not getting enough energy. RBTAs can change in appearance quite a lot, and still be fine.

Post a picture of him. If you can, include his mouth in the picture. The mouth is a great indicator of the health of an anemone.

Happy Reefin!

I figured since the OP admitted he has been neglecting the tank and has had phospates, it couldn't hurt to feed the RBTA

I have been taking care of the tank for months now.

I just fed it and it ate it all up I hope it's just me. I looked at the mouth and it's closed so I have no idea. My friend said that it might take it some time to recover but my phosphates have been .05 or lower for months now.
