rbta in overflow.

So my rbta has decided to climb through the egg crate covering my overflow and attach to my stand pipe. How to i get him out of there without damaging him?

I would just turn off all flow and slowly set him on the sand bed and let him work his way out.

well i cant remove the stand pipe, thats the problem.

Can you remove the egg crate?

woke up this morning with all intentions of getting him out, and now he is MIA, not sure if he went down the drain or if he climbed back over into the tank.

yes, i just found what is left of it, it didn't make it. I have had the worst of luck with anemones.

I have found that a turkey baster full of tank water aimed at the base of the foot is a great way to "blow" them off whatever they are attached to.
