RBTA introduction questions

Ive researched this for hours and my brain hurts. I introduced a couple anemones a couple nights ago. I understand they will move where they wan't to and I don't care where the end up.

I only turned off my flow for an hour or so upon introduction. After which I turned them on (yes intakes covered) and the both moved to the sandbed and into this cave. Should I turn off the flow for a day or two until they decide where to go or just leave on as usual. I have 5100 gph on wave maker function. The flow is random and no flow directly hitting the rock work. Two powerheads on each end placed high center pointing towards one another. One ph back corner pointed to water surface and a fourth one left top front hitting the back wall.

So the question is, do I turn off most of the flow (minus the one for water agitation at the top) until the guys get settled?
 
When I added my RBTA, I turned off all power heads for about 1-2hrs and place it on a live rock at the bottom of the tank. it wasn't long until he set his foot. a few days later it moved toward the back of my tank where I couldn't see it. I tried aiming my wave maker towards it so that it would move back toward the front, but that didn't work. I ended up turning that rock around so that it was facing the front of the tank. About 1 week later I fed it some messy shrimp hasn't moved since.
 
BTAs like to mount their foot in a deep hole or crevice within the rocks. I have always introduced mine to my tank by placing them on the rockwork in a hole I prefer them to stay in and have rarely had mine ever move. They do enjoy light so mine are typically high or no lower than the midpoint of my rocks. They also like a pulsating flow which I provide using the Pulse Mode on my MP10s....

Beautiful RBTAs by the way :) They look like Sherman Rose which I would love to find someday :D

My family thinks I have officially lot my mind. Perhaps I have.....

I taped three pictures of clownfish being hosted by RBTA's on the glass to encourage my twin's to take refuge in this extra large anemone.

The things we do in this hobby. :lol2:
 
MANY MANY people do this also.

It is funny, might as well pus some word inside the tank too, then when they come over they can see it say (ignore the humans they do not speak fish)

I have two tank raised Occ clowns. Put my tablet about a half a foot from the tank with a nice youtube video of a pair of clowns hosting. After the 2nd day the clowns were hosting.
 
Do you think if I put a youtube video of clowns eating next to the tank it would help get them to eat? Lol
 
BTA's are fun to have.. I have three in the tank and not one went where I wanted them to be.. LOL

Just let the nems be and they will find their happy place. the more you mess with them the more they can get hurt. Keep the flow on and let them just be happy :)

That plan did not work for me, nor did playing finding nemo on repute all day when we are not at home... My clownfish are a lost cause!
