RBTA pics and Help

Hey guys
I have had this RBTA for 8 months. As soon as I put it in the tank it climbed to this spot and hasnt moved. I paired it with a feisty maroon clown. It has had huge bubble tip formations at its tips since the beggining. It grew very fast and has been happy up until a month ago. Over the period of a week, the bubble tip formations went away and were replaced with a mutated knobby and curled look. Its behavior hasn't changed as far as how big it gets and how it shrinks at night. There have been no changes in water quality and light conditions. I have a 46 gallon bowfront with PC lighting at around 4.5 watts per gallon. Does anyone know what might be happening to my RBTA and how do I fix it!
THanks

IMO, it looks like it is starving. How often do you feed it? And watts per gallon is a poor rule. What actual lights do you have?

Maroons can also be quiet rough with their anemones, so that could be a cause as well. How big is your anemone in relation to your clown?

I feed it twice a week two to three pieces of krill. I have three other anems and they are all happy. I have a Coralife 96 x 2. half is actinics and the other is 10k. I will try to post a pic with the maroon in it. Thanks for the reply

How long have you had your lights, my anemone started to suffer only to find out my lights were losing the usable output even though they look bright. (my ricordia colony started to decline too) 12mo is generally max for PC's and I swapped mine every 8-10mo because corals started to tell me they needed more light.

The picture's pretty small, but it doesn't look like the clown is big enough to cause all the damage by himself. Possibly a contributor, but I'd guess not the sole issue.
