I recently added a 3" red bubble tip and it settled down next to my m. undata. I can see that the polyps are still extending even though the anemone is brushing against it the entire photo period. Should I attempt to move the RBTA?
Not easily. It's a 4"x4" show piece. There is a small cave underneath it, and wouldn't you know it, that's what the anemone went for. Now when it expands it touches the bottom 1/4 or so of the monti.
I can't really move anything without totally dismantling the rock that they are both attached to. Has anyone ever tried slipping a small divider between their anemone and adjacent coral? I was thinking the plastic cd cases might do the trick.
