Just wondering... I cooked a load of rock a while ago (I reckon reasonably well) and it lived in a reasonably well maintained BB tank for a short while. I then had to break down the tank as moved house and fish and rock had to live temporarily in a tank that wasn't at all well maintained - really high nitrates and phosphates. But... despite scuzzy water and more natural light than's healthy, no algae blooms.
Do I need to recook the rock fully/for a short while before I throw it in a new BB setup or does the fact that I haven't had any problem algae suggest that I won't in what will be a much cleaner, new BB system?
Thanks
